The treatment begins with thorough cleansing followed by dermaplaning, where a sterile surgical blade is skillfully used to remove dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz). This physical exfoliation removes the top layer of dead skin, instantly reveals brighter, smoother skin and creates the perfect canvas for maximum product penetration in the following steps.
Nanoneedling, the star of this treatment, offers distinct advantages over traditional microneedling. While microneedling creates microchannels reaching the dermis (0.5-2.5mm depth) and typically requires numbing, nanoneedling works at a more superficial level (0.15-0.25mm depth). This shallower penetration targets the stratum corneum and upper layers of the epidermis, making it virtually painless with no downtime while still effectively enhancing product absorption. The nano-sized needles create microscopic pathways in the skin without causing the same level of trauma as microneedling, resulting in minimal to no downtime – perfect for pre-event preparation.
